Where to begin...

So where should i start my story. I'm afraid some of this tale may be a little brief or vauge.
So let me see, I met my hubby in 2002 I believe. He was a freind of someone I was dating at the time. I also found out back then that he was the older brother of a girl I'd gone to school with.
So yeah I split with the other guy and a few months later my now hubby confessed that he liked me and we ended up dating on Nov 2nd 2002. So i guess this journey officially stared then. Although I didn't know it at the time.

So We finally got engaged on 30th of December 2004 (after buying the ring in march that year lol took him that long to figure out when to propose and then he just ended up doing it at the last minute cause his plan was ruined when he was callled in to work lol)

So yeah from there we bought a house mid 2005 and buy Nov 2005 we had decided to we'd like to start a family instead of planning a wedding. We planned to marry after. What do they say about 'the best laid plans'......

So month after month went by.
We did silly things like prop my butt up in the air for 30mins plus afterwards (can you say sore neck and cold bb's lol)
I got one of those microscopes you spit on.
And I peeded on one negative stick after another (I hate those things)
Finally after about 13mths (early 2007 by this stage) I went to see my GP and got a referral to a fertility specialist.
Now during those 13mths I met back up with a close friend from high school. She too had been ttcing with no luck and had been diagnosed with PCOS when she was younger and told she'd have hard luck trying to conceive naturally. She was married now and they were seeing an OB who had her injecting FSH to ovulate. The thought of all of this was so foreign to me and seemed extreme. At the time i didn't think I'd ever need to go through anything remotely like that. I figured I'd get some tablet to fix my hormones and ta da it would happen like it's supposed to.
HUH!!!

Tune in next time to hear what the specialist told us.
